‘Nastics Preschool/Kindergarten Program.
The preschool classes start when a child can enjoy movement and discovery. These classes overlap in age to offer unstructured, structured class with parent and independent classes to move through at their own pace. Children develop at different rates and this class flexibility in the early years makes it easy for your child to succeed.
In addition to physical development, they will also learn taking turns, sharing, natural consequences and working together with their classmates. Exercise and learning life skills will develop well-rounded and healthy kids! Classes will have themes such as letters, concepts and holidays incorporated into daily lessons.
Class Descriptions
Babynastics (walking -2)
Once your child can start walking they can start exploring and practicing their new mobility. Babynastics offers the opportunity to climb, hop, balance and run through obstacle courses and stations. The class is mostly unstructured free play using all of the appropriate gymnastics equipment with safe activities set up to develop gross and fine motor skills in young toddlers.
Partner Babynastics (18 months-3)
Whether its Mom, Dad, Grandpa or Nanny, any friend can be your child’s assistant in this structured class. The coach will lead a warm-up and stretch, lessons on gymnastics events and activities on the trampolines and the foam pit. Beginner skills like rolls, handstands and even cartwheels will be practiced along with important preschool skills such as taking turns, sharing and following directions.
Totnastics (2.5-3)
Like Partner Babynastics, Totnastics will work on beginner skills on all of the apparatus through games, stations and activities. Preschoolers love the trampoline and the foam pit! Independent from Mom and Dad, Totnastics is a great first exposure to a solo structured class. Kids will have fun all while building physical skills and confidence.
Kidnastics (4-5)
Kidnastics starts to focus more on skill acquisition, goal achievement and practicing teamwork. Classes are one hour and will balance fun and physical challenge. Kids work on tumbling, high beam development, dynamic vaulting and strength for bar progressions. Once the beginner skills are mastered, Kidnastics students will be eligible for the next level.
Attitude determines your altitude.
Big Kid Program.
The school-age classes focus more on skill development. They will also have fun, active games and challenges but will focus on goals for skill achievement. These classes have age divisions to ensure the right amount of challenge leading to success. Once they master the basics they will be asked to move into the intermediate classes and from there to the advanced.
Class Descriptions
Jr. Beginner (6-7) and Beginner (8+)
The Big Kid Program classes have higher expectations than the younger levels because they naturally have better coordination, body awareness and listening skills. Games and activities are still a part of every class. Drills, coach assistance and repetition will help them master the gymnastics fundamentals.
Jr. Intermediate (7 and younger) and Intermediate (8+)
Once a child has mastered all beginner skills, they will be invited to the Intermediate level. With a solid foundation, harder skills such as back walkovers, front handsprings and back extension rolls can be achieved. Vault, Bars and Beam training will also advance to more difficult tricks.
Rough and Tumble (Boys only, 6+)
It’s well known that boys have a lot of energy. With padded floors and foam mats, gymnastics is the perfect outlet for them to get their exercise and develop an athletic base for any sport they participate in. Boys tumble on the spring floor and trampolines and work on other male events such as Bars and Vault.
Cheer Tumble (6+)
Tumbling classes will only work on the spring floor and trampolines. The class is not just for cheerleaders, anyone who wants to focus on tumbling may participate.
NEW! Adult Boot Camp (ages 16+)
Now you can benefit as much as your children from the sport of gymnastics! Increasing strength, balance and flexibility will be the focus of Adult Fitness classes.
NEW! Adult Gymnastics (ages 16+)
In addition to body conditioning, Adult Gymnastics will also focus on skill development on all four gymnastics events and trampolines.
